Maths team building

Today we had an inter house maths competition. Each team had a go at 4 different events...
1 - build the tallest tower from paper
2 - build the strongest bridge from paper.
3 - longest marble maze run
4 - climbing through a sheet of paper

Jack and the beanstalk

MP2 have been busy this week getting ready for our production of Jack and the beanstalk.

International Week

 

International week went off with a bang this morning at TX.  Every child took part in a super flag parade represent every nation that makes up our school.

INTERNATIONAL WEEK

Next week we will be celebrating International week at TX. All the children are asked to attend Monday in their national dress, or something to represent their home nation.
There will be loads going on next week. On Monday there will be a photobooth in the foyer. If you would like a picture of your child the cost will be 20,000VND. Please hand any money straight to the office. All money raised will be going to charity.

On Wednesday we will be holding a craft & games fayre. The children will need to purchase tokens for each activity they try. Each token cost 5,000VND and are avaliable in the office. There will be plenty activities from different countries, some of which will be offered for free.Vietnamese - 4 crafts avaliable (2 tickets per craft)
Korea (free)
Japan, Australia & India (1 or 2 tickets per activity)

We've been busy the last few days creating a world map from play dough as an end to our IPC topic.  Moksh tried out his 'Bond Villan' impression.

This weeks MP2 Book week theme is Where's Wally. In our English lessons we're busy writing our own stories where we all go searching for our hero. Today we're on the look out ins market, but who knows where we'll be tomorrow?

This afternoon we're creating our own hodgehegs, based on the book by Dick King Smith. We're also designing our own parks for them to live in. Lovely work Tracey and Ms Y!
